Venice Film Festival is just as much a spectacle for fashion lovers as it is for film buffs. A-list celebrities show up not only to promote their new films, but also to deliver strong style moments and work with top stylists to showcase the best creations from the new ready-to-wear and couture runways.
The famed annual film festival (organised by La Biennale di Venezia and directed by Alberto Barbera), which kicked off from August 31st and runs until September 10th, has already drawn A-listers including Julianne Moore, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Penelope Cruz, among other celebrities.
The stars left no stone unturned in the fashion department, wearing breathtaking and glamorous ensembles on the red carpet. Penelope Cruz and Julianne Moore looked completely stunning in their incredible ensembles. Penelope wore an Alaïa confetti-print gown with a leather heart-shaped bustier while Julianne Moore went viral in a black Armani Privé gown at the premiere of Tár. Also, Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio, donned an unforgettable look, wearing a fuchsia chiffon number at the White Noise premiere. Other standout looks include Timothée Chalamet’s Haider Ackermann blood-red ensemble.

Julianne Moore
Actress Julianne Moore stuns in a floor-length black velvet gown by Armani Privé while attending the premiere of Tár. The all-black dress featured a plunging V-shaped neckline which allowed room for her glistening Cartier jewels. The plunging V-neck featured an architectural structure at the bodice. She kept her hair in a straight style, tucked behind her ears, and kept her make-up simple, with a subtle brown smokey eye and nude pink lip.
Alessandra Ambrosio
Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio attends the White Noise premiere wearing a Barbiecore-esque hot pink dress by Italian fashion house Ermanno Scervino. The look was matched with a sheer cape and pink heels.
Timothée Chalamet
The 26-year-old actor Timothy Chalamet looked fantastic at the premiere of his upcoming new filmBones and All wearing a custom blood red ensemble by designer Haider Ackermann from its Spring 2018 ready-to-wear collection. The look featured a shimmering backless halter top, with an attached scarf around the neck, and trousers. He completed the look with black boots, bracelets and silver rings.
Irina Shayk
Supermodel Irina Shayk looked gorgeous while attending the “L’lmmensità” red carpet. She wore a silky PINKO slip dress with Pomellato jewellery and graphic eye make-up. The satin black dress featured a low back and a sprawling train with spaghetti straps and a V neckline. She also wore a gold bangle and black strappy stilettos. She also opted for dramatic makeup with a perfect bun and black eyeliner.
