Burberry Introduces Its Latest The “Lola” Bag Campaign with Mechanical Horses

Bella Hadid and Lourdes Leon pose on mechanical horses as they lead the glamorous stars promoting Burberry’s new Lola bag campaign alongside Jourdan Dunn and Ella Richards.

Burberry’s latest campaign about their Lola bag has another “Lola” starring Bella Hadid.

Ricardo Tisci, the Chief Creative Officer at Burberry, has hired Leon alongside fellow models Lourdes Leon, Jourdan Dunn, and Ella Richards to star in the campaign.

Bella Hadid said, “It was amazing to work with Riccardo and the Burberry family again and I absolutely loved shooting this campaign,”. “I always have the best time on set, there was so much energy and it was great to work with a mixture of incredibly talented people.” Bella added.

Tisci has designed the Lola bag and described it as “a soft silhouette punctuated with the Thomas Burberry Monogram clasp and a polished chain strap.” The clasp, a T, and a B, honouring the brand’s founder, Thomas Burberry. The padded bag comes in various sizes, styles, and colours, including pale vanilla, natural raffia, and soon brighter tones.

For the campaign, I really wanted to celebrate that attitude and all of the facets that make up the Burberry woman, so together with Torso, we created a fantasy world where she is free to exhibit her strength and be captured in all of her beauty from every angle,” Tisci said.

“Strong women have always inspired me beyond limitations, and Bella, Lourdes, Jourdan and Ella embody that spirit,” said Burberry, creative chief officer Riccardo Tisci. “They represent femininity at its most powerful and the essence of that attitude that is inherently Lola.”

The “Lola” bag campaign has been created in partnership with Torso Solutions, and the styled by Suzanne Koller. He described the product as “a soft silhouette punctuated with the Thomas Burberry Monogram clasp and a polished chain strap.” The clasp, a T, and a B, honouring the brand’s founder, Thomas Burberry.

In the ad campaign, Bella Hadid takes the reins and wearing the white and black versions of the handbag. Her outfit has included a red quilted jacket that featured a chevron print on the front of the piece that imitated the brand’s signature plaid pattern. It has also got a black collar for a nice pop of color. On the lower half, Hadid coordinated with black trousers that tied her look together seamlessly.

Let’s remember that Bella Hadid is a long-time friend of Tisci and muse of the fashion house. She has walked in several runways shoes for Burberry, including the most recent Fall-Winter 2022 fashion show. Moreover, back in 2020, Bella also participated in Burberry’s Spring 2020 campaign, which was shot by photographers Inez and Vinoodh. Her sister Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Mona Tougaard also took part of the campaign.

Bella Hadid loves the friendship she has got with Tisci. She said in a previous interview: “It is always one of my biggest honours to work with a friend like Riccardo.”
