Designers presented their collection at the vibrant Danish capital, unveiling bright and colourful collections that caught all our attention and made us fall in love with all the pieces! Below, we bring you the highlights from the Spring/Summer 2023 runways, straight from Copenhagen Fashion Week.
Saks Potts – Spring Summer 2023
Designers Barbara Potts and Catherine Saks have presented their latest Spring-Summer 2023 collection at CPHFW. The inspiration for this collection was another real woman, Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark, who could be said to be living a real fairy tale. The spring 2023 show was much better balanced with fringed crocheted accessories added a bohemian touch to the collection. As for the leathers, the main message was mix-and-match separates. Every look had a bohemian twist to it.

The Garment – Spring Summer 2023
The Garment co founders Sophia Roe and Charlotte Eskildsen realigned the brand’s offerings with a spring 2023 collection that was both conventionally dressy and resort ready. “I like the combination of something feeling elevated and feminine with a casual masculine silhouette,” Roe said in a message. “It’s the way women dress here too, you will always find a Scandi woman trying to find the perfect harmony between those two.”

Holzweiler – Spring Summer 2023
For Spring, Summer 2023, Holzweiler presented a collection which was a delightful mixture of masculine and feminine. The designer showed off models wearing delicate floral dresses that moved effortlessly down the runway. Then, there were also models wearing tailored fits – from boiler suits to waistcoats. Tassels in the form of statement belts, hemlines and bags were also the unifying theme that was constant throughout the collection.

Henrik Vibskov – Spring Summer 2023 You can always expect the unexpected from Henrik Vibskov. The theme of his spring 2023 collection was ‘Bridges’ which was also evident in arch-shaped sleeve treatments, which were especially lovely on plisse dresses. They’re “something that we as mankind have made for a shortcut,” he explained. “[A bridge] is also a place where we interfere with nature,” Vibskov continued. “You could say we are taking over the birds’ route”—hence the show’s title, Bird in the Face, which appeared on intarsia sweaters. There were bird patterns too, some of them more liberal than others.

Baum Und Pferdgarten – Spring Summer 2023
Held in the streets of Copenhagen, Baum Und Pferdgarten’s Spring-Summer 2023 collection clearly reflected the vibrancy of the Danish capital. The brand presented pieces in bright blues and purples which were paired with clashing highlighter pinks and yellows. The designer also played with prints and textures on chain-patterned floaty dresses, leopard-print coats and full lace looks.
