Spring-Summer 22’ Fashion Trends & Colours To Try

Here’s the list of adorable Spring-Summer 22’ trends which are a sure hit amongst celebs at the red carpet and public appearances.

During Spring/Summer 2022 fashion week (last September), we saw the biggest – and the most can’t-miss – fashion pieces to be worn in the season. Fashion designers were gravitating toward bold and neon colours on the runways of New York, Milan, London and Paris and now, we will trickle down to street style and red carpets well into fall.

Following every fashion trend on the runways for Spring/Summer 2022 will seem unreachable for the majority of us, but this article sums it up for you. From hot pink, ULTRA mini minis, super sheer fabrics, outerwear as underwear, ‘90s neons and, yes, more and more cut-outs. So, without saying more, let’s take a closer look at the 6 biggest warm-weather fashion trends of 2022.

CUT-OUTS

We are in love with cut-outs! They came as a shock a few seasons ago, but they will continue being THE news for a long-period of time. And that is amazing when it comes to considering cost-per-wear and environmental-friendly-ness, because the more frequently you’re happy to wear an item the better.  With cut-outs – wherever they are on an item – seemingly going nowhere fast, you’d be wise to hop on board.

WHITE SUITING

Suiting is the key trend for the season! And we are totally sure you will love to wear it at any place and moment. Besides, it suits everyone – as it seems to be the most versatile piece. This season sees the return of suiting with a vengeance. Stark white and complete with show-stopping accents – from waist ties to contrast black hardware and bold shoulders, these are pieces that should make the prospect of returning to your commute a whole lot more bearable. A trouser suit also provides a chic option for an alternative wedding outfits if you’re looking for something other than a traditional dress.

Hot pink is the wildest trend of this season and the most obvious one to catch as well. Margot Robbie’s upcoming movie ‘Barbie’ definitely makes it quite obvious about the importance of this trend. During SS 22’ runways, we saw designers implementing pink colour shades on their designs and we’re totally obsessed with it. Aren’t you? Many fashion brands showed their collections featuring the most fashionable colour trend of the year (pink, of course; in different shades), and after that, celebrities started wearing pink pieces at different events and even on the red-carpet, for instance, the Grammys 2022 red carpet (Saweetie, Billy Porter, and even Travis Barker) or the Valentino front row (Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Hudgens, etc.)

HIGHLIGHTER YELLOW

Neon yellow is the key and hottest trend for the season 2022, and the most incredible thing about this is that it’s particularly epic when worn head-to-toe. If you’re really fearful of the ‘on your face’ tone, you can wear this colour as an accessory accent when mixed with camel, taupe or oat milk tones.

ULTRA-MINI MINIS

The minis are back! And, the supermodels of the ’90s would’ve been proud to wear, with well over half of the thigh exposed beneath the brief slip of fabric. For instance, Miu Miu created the viral hit of the season but opt for super-statement shades, prints or fabrics to ensure that while your skirt may be small it still packs a mighty punch.

SUPER SHEER

If you like having fun with fashion (after spending the best part of two years wearing tracksuits), super sheer fabrics will have a real moment in the sun this spring. Of course, sheer fabrics can be matched with under bra tops, blouses, cycling shorts or skorts to protect your modesty – this trend is one of the most flexible for SS22.
