Jennifer Lopez’s age-defying beauty has been the subject of awe among fans over the years. The 52-year-old pop princess seems to be getting younger as the years go by. Fans say she looks younger and more radiant than ever. Jlo says the key to good skin is sleep. “The number one tip is always to get enough sleep. I can’t stress this enough. Ideally, I would love to get nine or 10 hours of sleep, but either way, I always make sure I get at least eight,” Lopez said.

In December 2020, the singer launches JLo Beauty, a premier line of intensive skin care products. The initial JLo Beauty collection offers eight products, including a gel cleanser, a serum, a mask, a “wonder” cream, a moisturizer with sunscreen, an eye cream, a “complexion enhancer” and a dietary supplement.

J-Lo revealed the five beauty treatments she simply couldn’t live without: sleep, sunscreen, serums, supplements, and living a healthy lifestyle. “I’ve been using sunscreen since I was about 18 as a moisturizer,” Jennifer said in an interview. “That’s one of the biggest secrets I can tell everyone that they don’t take seriously enough, because every day our skin suffers from not only sun damage, but environmental damage. And just having sunscreen every day will make a difference,” she said.

STEP Nº 1: Morning Routine

The next step is to get a glow skin by using That JLo Glow Serum. “This is the secret ingredient, it took 21 iterations of this to get it right,” she explains. ‘People go, “How do I get that glow? How do I get that glow?” I put it in a bottle and say, ‘Here.’

JLo explains that SPF is her real-must have skincare item. She applies a dollop of the whipped formula all over her face and neck. ‘From being very, very young, you have to wear sunscreen,” Jennifer states, “That is probable one of the biggest things that I did from a very young age that helped me to preserve my skin.”

She also added, “A dermatologist told me at a very young age to use sunscreen, and I was like, ‘What do I need sunscreen for? I live in New York.’ But the truth is, that was a big part of why I was able to say youthful-looking because I used it as my moisturizer every single day. It helped me protect myself from the elements, and enough people don’t understand that such a big part of staying youthful looking is using sunscreen every day.”

  1. Wash your face after working out

JLo emphasizes on having our face clean after working out to get a healthy skin. “I always, always wash my face after a workout. That helps keep my pores clean, and my skin feeling healthy.”

  • Never sleep in your makeup

Jennifer says that you never should go to sleep without cleaning your makeup look. Having a nightly cleansing routine is crucial for her as he explains, “I never go to bed without taking my makeup off, (and I use) night creams to keep my skin hydrated,” She also emphasizes that sleeping is also crucial for a healthy skin. “Ideally, I would love to get nine or 10 hours of sleep. But either way, I always make sure I get at least eight.”

  • Try not to wear makeup on off-days

JLo uses a lot of makeup for work. So, when she is in her free times or not working, she tries to keep her beauty look wearing no makeup at all. “I am pretty low-key when it comes to my day-to-day beauty routine… When I am not working, I tend to wear little to no makeup,” she says.

  • Take care of your body

Lopez claims that not only does a skincare routine has an important aspect in keeping your skin fresh and stunning, but also taking care of your body becomes a must-follow daily routine. Jennifer is really careful about how she fuels her body from the insider out. “I don’t drink or smoke or have caffeine. That really wrecks your skin as you get older.” Instead, she suggests living a green-and-H20 life and “eat a lot of green vegetables, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and kale,” and adds, “you should drink at least seven glasses of water a day.”
