The BAFTA’s red carpet: Ana de Armas, Florence Pugh and more who wowed us with their outfits.

Capes, opera gloves, and black reigned supreme on the 2023 EE BAFTA Film Awards red carpet. The star-studded event, and precursor to the Oscars, took place Sunday in London, attracting everyone from Prince William and Kate Middleton to Rami Malek and Jodie Turner-Smith.

Unlike the Grammys, where sparkles and silver were the themes of the night, the BAFTAs attracted many more toned down, simple black looks, courtesy of nominees like Emma Thompson, Jamie Lee Curtis, and budding Elvis impersonator Austin Butler.

As expected, there were plenty of sparkling jewellery, fashion and beauty trends spotted on the red carpet. Among the most favoured trends, there were lots of tulles, feathers, lace, all-black looks, sheer gowns, and glitzy embellished get-ups.

As always, A-listers arrived on location in a mix of killer and classic ensembles. Nominees and stars brought out the glitz and glam to the red carpet at the most-anticipated event that celebrates film and movies. From Anya Taylor-Joy’s gorgeous Schiaparelli look to Florence Pugh’s Nina Ricci gown, we love the slay!
